Sometimes, due to some technical errors, system noted wrong vehicle number and e-challan sent to a wrong person. If you have received a message to pay challan and you haven’t broken any rule then you have to follow the below procedure to cancel wrong e-challan:
- If you have a message to pay wrong e-challan then you can contact on traffic police helpline for that.
- You can also send an email to the traffic police email address. After verifying the details, the traffic police will cancel the e-challan.
- After cancelling the e-challan, you need not to pay any fees.
- The traffic police also shares a complaint format on social media. You can fill that format and submit it to police department for the wrong e-challan.
