Ration Card Types

The Haryana government is issuing only three types of ration cards. Those are as follows:

APL Ration Card

APL ration card provides to those citizens who are above the poverty line. This Ration Card color is Yellow and any citizen who is above the Poverty Line can request for this ration card.

BPL Ration Card

This ration card provides to those citizens who are below the poverty line. BPL Ration Card color is Pink and any citizen who is below the Poverty Line can request for this ration card and the annual income of the family is less than 1 lakh. Antyodaya Ration Card

Antyodaya ration card is issued to such poor citizens who are extremely poor. This ration card is for such poor families who can get ration from the Ration shop at a very cheap price. Haryana Govt introduces many schemes for Antyodaya Ration Card holders.

Aadhaar Card.
Address Proof.
Identity Proof of Family Head.
Identity proof of Family members.
Self Declaration Affidavit.

How to Apply for a new Haryana Ration Card?

If you want to apply for a new ration card, then you have to follow the below procedure for that:

Firstly, you have to collect the Ration Card Application form.
The Ration Card application form is divided into 3 parts.
In the first section, you have to fill general information like Family head name, father name, mother name, address, FPS Name, type of ration card, etc.
You also have to mention your gas connection details if you have any.
In the second section, you have to fill Inclusion Criteria like income tax details, Vat Tax Details, Land Details, four-wheeler details, family member government job details, etc.
In the last section, you have to fill the family member details like name, father name, mother name, gender, age, UID number, etc.
Now, you have to verify all your document from Gazetted Officer or Sarpanch or Gram Sachiv or M.C. of the colony.
Then, you have to submit this application form to the food and supply department.
The department will verify your application form and document. After confirming all details, the department will issue a new Haryana Ration Card to you.

Now Click on your Tehsil.
