Maharashtra Swadhar Yojana is a new Maharashtra government scheme for the scheduled caste and Neo Buddhist students. The student gets the financial support up to RS 51000. The student who is pursuing the 10th, 12th diploma, or any other professional courses are eligible for this yojana scheme. The beneficiary will get accommodation facilities, boarding, and other expenses facility from the government. The main objective of the government is to provide a better facility in education to the student who did not afford it. It will help to encourage the student to study. This scheme is an outstanding initiative by the Maharashtra government for the welfare of the student.

Eligibility
If you are going to apply for the show the yojana then you need to check your eligibility criteria for this scheme:
- Candidate must belong from the Maharashtra state.
- SC or neo Buddha categories are only applicable.
- The annual income of the family can not more than 2.5 lakh
- The student must have bank accounts
- Applicants must have an Aadhar card.
- The applicant is going to take admission after the 10th class is eligible.
- The student must have qualified their last exam by securing 60% marks or above.
- Physically disabled people are eligible for 40% marks only.
- The course duration must for a minimum of 2 years.

The Student will get a boarding facility of rupees 28000 and lodging facilities of rupees 15000. The students from medical and engineering courses get the benefit of rupees 5000. The Student of other branches gets rupees 2000 more amount from the government. So the beneficiary will get the total amount of rupees 51000.
Maharashtra Swadhar Yojana Apply Offline
Follow the below application process of Babasaheb Ambedkar Swadhar Yojana 2020 for the registration:
Step1#. First, you have to visit the SJSA Maharastra official website.
In this step, you have to visit the official website of SJSA Maharastra. Here you have to click on the scheme menu. It will show you different options. Now, click on the "Education and Training" link. It will open a new page. Now, you can see a list of schemes on your screen.
Step2#. Second, click on the Swadhar Yojana scheme.
Here you have to click on the scheme button. You can see a form link on your screen. Now click on the option, download the application form to download it in your device.
Step3#. Third, you have to fill the application form.
Under this process. take a printout of this application form and fill all details carefully. after that, you have to attach all required documents like education, identity, resident certificate, etc.
Step4# Fourth, you have to submit this application form to the nearest SJSA Office.
After that, you have to submit that application form to your nearest social justice office. The office will give you an acknowledgment of your application. keep that acknowledgment safe for future use. After verifying all details, SJSS Maharastra transfer scholarship into your bank account.
