Jharkhand Government has launched Fasal Rahat Yojana for the state farmers. This scheme will replace the PM Kisan Bima Yojana. The state government waives farmer loans up to Rs 50,000 per each farmer. This scheme is for those farmers who have taken loan but due to circumstances they were unable to pay back. So, the State Government will waive the debt of such farmers.
झारखंड सरकार ने राज्य के किसानों के लिए फसल राहत योजना शुरू की है। यह योजना पीएम किसान बीमा योजना की जगह लेगी। राज्य सरकार प्रत्येक किसान को 50,000 रुपये तक का किसान ऋण माफ करती है। यह योजना उन किसानों के लिए है जिन्होंने ऋण लिया है, लेकिन उन परिस्थितियों के कारण वे वापस भुगतान करने में असमर्थ थे। लिहाजा, राज्य सरकार ऐसे किसानों का कर्ज माफ करेगी।

Jharkhand Fasal Rahat Yojana [ झारखण्ड फसल राहत योजना ]
Recently, state government has presented Jharkhand Budget 2020-21 in assembly. Right now, more than 75% Jharkhand population is working agriculture and allied activities. So, the government has decided to help farmers in their bad financial conditions. Farmer are spending their earning on repaying their loans. For this, Jharkhand Government has launched Fasal Rahat Yojana or Farm Loan Waiver Scheme. Under this scheme, state government will waive only those farmers loan who are upto Rs. 50,00/-. Jharkhand Chief Minister Mr. Hemant Soren has announced the Jharkhand Debt Waiver Scheme on 8 December 2020. Right now, the farmers of the state have a debt of Rs 9000 crores. In this situation, determining the eligibility of the beneficiaries of the Jharkhand Kisan Debt Waiver Scheme is a big challenge.
इस योजना के तहत, राज्य सरकार केवल उन्हीं किसानों का ऋण माफ करेगी जो 50,000 / - रुपये तक के हैं। झारखंड के मुख्यमंत्री श्री हेमंत सोरेन ने 8 दिसंबर 2020 को झारखंड ऋण माफी योजना की घोषणा की है। अभी राज्य के किसानों पर 9000 करोड़ रुपये का कर्ज है। इस स्थिति में, झारखंड किसान ऋण माफी योजना के लाभार्थियों की पात्रता का निर्धारण एक बड़ी चुनौती है।

Eligibility Criteria
If you want to apply for the scheme, then you have to fulfill the following :
- A permanent resident of Jharkhand can apply for this scheme.
- Only 18 years above can apply for this.
- If the farmer is a government employee or having government pension then he is not eligible for the scheme.
- Those who are small and marginal farmers of Jharkhand are eligible.
