Bihar Govt has launched Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana for girls of Bihar state. On Girl childbirth, she receives Rs. 5000/- incentive. The girl receives Rs. 10,000/- incentive after clearing the 12th examination. The girl receives Rs. 25,000/- getting married after her graduation. The girl will receive Rs. 40,000/- total incentive under Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana.
The Main aim of the scheme is to help eliminate the case of girl child mortality rate. It will aim to eliminate child marriage and early child pregnancy cases in society. The State Govt also offer sanitary napkins to girls at the time of adolescent age. Amount of Rs. 300/- will pay to girl for sanitary napkins.
Uniforms will also provide to girls under Kanya Utthan Yojana. Girls who are studying in 1st and 2nd will get Rs. 400/- yearly. Girls who are studying in 3rd to 5th will get Rs. 500/- yearly. Girls who are studying 6th to 8th will get Rs. 700/-yearly. Girls who are studying in 9th to 12th will get Rs. 100/ yearly.

Bihar Kanya Utthan Yojana Eligibility
The following condition should match for Yojana:
- The Girl must resident of Bihar.
- A girl must from EWS ( Economical Weaker Section).
- Only Two girls from a single-family are eligible for the scheme.
- Girl's parents are not working as a Govt Employee.
- To receive Rs. 10,000/-, Girl should submit the 10th mark sheet.
- The girl must have an Aadhaar Card.
- A girl must have a Bank Account linked with Aadhaar Card.
Kanya Utthan Yojana Document Required
The following documents should submit for Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana:
- Resident proof or Address proof of Bihar.
- Aadhaar Card or Voter Card.
- Bank Account Details.
- Passport size photo.
- Marksheet of 12th.
- EWS Certificate.
